1. Possession - Ownership

_ A property (countable) is a building, e.g. house, office-block.
_ She's just bought at very nice property near the town-centre.

_ The proprietor (n- người chủ sở hữu) of this restaurant is a friend of mine.
_ The landlord/ lady's put the rent up. (owner of rented property)
_ Do you own this house? _ No we're just tenants (n- người thuê mướn).

2. Giving
_ The river provides the village with water. (or supplies)
_ Would you like to contribute/ donate something to the children's hospital fund (n- nguồn tài chính)?
_ Jakes Ltd. supplies our school with paper and other items.
_ It gives me pleasure to present (v- biếu, tặng) you with this clock from us all.
_ When I retired they presented me with a camcorder.
