VF11a: S + V + to + VF

  (told, persuaded, invited, wanted, asked, expected, permitted)
   He advised/told/persuaded me to go to Florida.

 (order, advise, force, permit, persuad, tell, expect, ask)
   Did they advise/remind/invite you to go with them?
   We expect to see him

   He likes me to stay here

   We expect him to see us
   Vietnamese girls like to wear long hair.

VF11b: S + V + To be Past.P (only Transitive verb)

   He likes to be rewarded

   He expect to be respected

   My sister wants to be invited to that party.
   My children hated to be beaten.

VF11c: S + V + Gerund (or To be + Past.P = passive meaning) (need, want, merit, be worth (dang duoc), desire (uoc muon)).

  This book is worth reading

  This book is worth to be read
  These shirts need washing.
