Pattern 1: (Simple Present Tense)

_ She buys the car by cash

_ I pleased my parents by studying hard.

Pattern 2: (Simple Past Tense)

Cach tra loi HOW:
1. Use a preposition BY/ON/WITH “Bang cach. Bang phuong tien”

I eat rice with chopsticks (doi dua)
I go to work on foot
2. Use preposition BY + GERUND/ BY NOT + GERUND (hanh dong dap tra).
I please her by going to market with her
I answer her by smiling.
I please him by not going out.
3. Or use another verb (hanh dong dap tra)
